“Fresh ingredients are a tradition in Italy”
ZENZÀPERO IS
a non-alcoholic aperitif made from lots
of fresh Italian biological ginger,
refined with Italian orange fruit and lime.
100% natural!
A pleasently bitter note of orange & lemon zest,
and freshly sqeezed “Spremuta” from juicy
Mediterranean oranges enhances the fruity spiciness
of ginger.
And there’s a lot of ginger in every bottle!
So much that it only takes one shot to
to create a fine drink.
alcoholic or non-alcoholic
Zenzàpero is alcohol-free and therefore perfect for
non-alcoholic stimulating aperitifs with tonic water,
or as a sparkling refreshment in ice-cold mineral water,
and of course as a classic spritz with Prosecco
but also as a variant in vodka or gin, new taste creations
of fruity light spiciness are created ...
simply stimolante & piccante
Zenzàpero for the Spritz, alcoholic & non-alcoholic

at home . . .
In the coastal town of Imperia on the Italian Riviera,
Zenzàpero is at home in the capital of olive oil, the “capitale dell'olio di oliva”.
Before Imperia became known worldwide for its fine olive oil from the Taggiasca olive,
was the Riviera Ligure or Flower Riviera, as it is often called,
Citrus fruit growing area since the 15th century.
From oranges and lemons to the tart Italian chinotto fruit,
the relative of the bitter orange.
Dolcedo in piazza
In the associated village of Dolcedo, anciently nestled between the Maritime Alps and the Mediterranean, the desire for a new aperitif made of fresh ginger and citrus fruits arose.
Ginger was still relatively unknown, but enjoyed increasing popularity.
In order to meet the high demands of the Italian palate, many months of experimentation followed.
One recipe followed the next, the villagers of Dolcedo tried ever newer creations, imperial bar owners and restaurateurs gave their verdict and tested them on their guests.
The popular village festivals now wanted to offer the ginger aperitif just as the residents took it home and the first deals were made from the trunk of the car....
The bottles still had homemade caps instead of sweat capsules and hand-made recipe suggestions.
More months passed until the official okay for the product and its shelf life came.
A name was quickly found and the words zenzero (ginger) and aperitivo became the Italian brand Zenzàpero, the aperitivo that makes you want to spend the evening and is part of your everyday lifestyle.
